UPDATE

Since I haven't posted anything in a while I figured an update is needed. I'm steadily working on multiple projects right now all while going to physical therapy three times a week which completely drains my batteries. I'm nearly done with a Street Trash board, new business cards and perfecting ways to spread my qr code. So hopefully I'll post some new art stuff soon!

SOME MORE ART AND A LINK TO SHARE!

So today I bring you art from one of my favorite movies of all time called Critters! It stars little furry space monster balls that crawl around devouring just about everything in sight and shoot humans with porcupine like barbs. Pretty much as ridiculous as it sounds. The art is from the first movie's poster.

I figured I should also plug some of my friends sites since that's what friends do so here you go:

IT'S BEEN A WHILE SO HERE ARE A FEW MORE PIECES TO CHECK OUT!

So this broken skateboard piece has art on it from a movie in every horror buffs collection. A little H.P. Lovecraft influence called Re-Animator. The art is from the first movie's poster and features Dr. Herbert West and his signature green concoction!

The Second board has some traditional tattoo imagery on it from Sailor Jerry Collins!

Hope you guys liked these! Check back soon for more of my art!

Happy Hobo day to all!

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE!

Here we have one of the first broken board horror movie themed pieces I made. Its art from the movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The movie is absolutely absurd in every way possible featuring popcorn guns, cotton candy cocoons, circus tent space ships and of course clown cars. I loved the movie and made a board because of it.

Here you go:

Next we have a board featuring tattoo style imagery. It's another Sailor Jerry image that I made into a stencil and added color to.

This piece currently resides at a tattoo shop that friends of mine work at. Thanks for looking at my art and check back for more soon!

NEW ART JUST FINISHED TODAY

The first of two broken boards features movie art from Frank Hennenlotter's film Frankenhooker. This movie is one of my favorites and has tons of insanity throughout. Everything from lawnmower accidents to exploding prostitutes is featured in this movie about a man who uses hooker parts to rebuild his dead fiance! Such a great story and funny movie!

Here's the art:

The next broken board has one of my favorite characters on it. It features a little fellow by the name of Sam along with the title of the film he works his magic in called Trick r' Treat. Which is a Halloween movie that features a similar style to Creepshow in that it has a few short spooky stories except in this movie they all sorta tie in together. Definitely a fun movie to watch around Halloween and one that I truly love.

Here's Sam:

So there you have it! 2 new stencils on 2 more broken skateboards. Stay tuned for more art posts!

ANOTHER OLDIE TO CHECK OUT!

The art featured on this broken board is from another horror movie poster titled Ghoulies. It's easily one of the weirdest movies ever featuring little animated monsters that pop out of everywhere. The second movie is just as ridiculous and takes place in a traveling carnival's haunted house. I've loved the Ghoulies ever since I first saw them as a kid and that's why I turned them into art!

The First is a cleaner version and the second is a more vintage look:

I hope you enjoyed these! Check back for more posts and hopefully new art!

NOTHING NEW JUST SOMETHING OLD!

I've decided that if I have nothing new to post after a few days then I'll add some photos of things I've already done that I haven't shared yet. The first addition to the "oldies" will be a Texas Chainsaw Massacre board I made about half a year ago. It was the first horror movie themed art work I had ever done and I think it's one of the coolest too! So here you go:

Check back in the next few days to see some new and maybe some old art work!

FIRST USE OF CANVAS AND ANOTHER BROKEN BOARD.

I managed to build up enough courage to put some art onto canvas. I decided that since it sort of resembled a sheet of watercolor paper that I should do my own stencil version of a flash sheet. I used stencils that I had already made of Sailor Jerry flash and arranged them randomly just like the pro's! I spray painted it all then went back in with acrylic to do the coloring. I think it turned out pretty good for my first go and will probably use canvas again.

Heres a large image and then pictures of each corner working clockwise:

The next broken board I decorated with one of my favorite images of all time. The skank dancing punk. This logo has always been one of the coolest logos and has been used in everything from comics to album covers. I'm a big fan of this character and I hope you keep your shoulders up and your head down in the pit!

Well that's all I have for today so check back and see what else I come up with or leave some suggestions.

3 New Broken Skate Deck Art Pieces!

The first piece I made is from the movie poster for Bad Taste which is a film directed by Peter Jackson about aliens who come to earth to use humans as an ingredient for making Lord Crumbs Crunchy Delights. The movie is one of my favorites and has plenty of gross out moments along with horrible acting.

Here is a larger image of the finished product:

Here is a little closer view of Lord Crumb himself:

The second piece is another movie poster from yet another Peter Jackson film. This one entitled Dead Alive (Braindead). I really enjoy this film about decaying zombie relatives and over all gore. It has so much to offer like animated rats, decapitations, tons and tons of blood and just over all hilarity and for those reasons I made it into a piece of art!

Large image first:

Then a close up:

The final deck I have is artwork from the movie Night of the Creeps. This movie is also a zombie film and has a lot to offer like alien slugs, flamethrowers and Tom Atkins of course. If you are remotely into funny zombie films this one is a classic and earns it's place as art.

The close up:

That's all folks! But I will divulge that the next board I'm working on will be from a Frank Hennenlotter film!
